1/4	c	Vegetable shortening
1	tb	Cornstarch
2	ts	Baking soda
1/8	ts	Tincture of benzoin
1	ts	Fragrance, optional

Cream deodorants are especially effective if you have very dry skin. They also work well in winter months, when your skin tends to be a bit drier.

Blend all ingredients together into a smooth cream. Place in a clean jar with a tight-fitting lid. To use, rub a small amount of the cream under your arms.
